Life and living beyond your obstacles

It was 2006, me, Jahid and Prime are in Atlanta, GA for the 2005 PRO Convention. An educational platform about teaching the PRO and motorcycle clubs about many forms of what it is to be a member in society who lives the lifestyle of a motorcyclist. That sounds very lecture style a school like event huh? Not so true, what vibe I picked up was more then that. I felt a lot of love and fellowship that was fun and inviting at the same time. At just that moment I said it would be fun to start a Wheelchair club. We get out logo, patches and shirts and start living. Enjoy what life has to offer, go for your dreams, don't let nothing stop you from living this life we must live. The name was also going to have to have some significance, it was going to represent who we are. So after picking several names, High Rollers was best suited to what we felt inside about ourselves, since we're rollers, we had to be something that was above the rest and being High is just that.

Since I been spending many years advocating for other organizations, I learned many things and made several alliances that became a very important in my role as Professir X. Being part of events as an entertainer, kept my passion for art alive and rolling. The friends I began to make who were also aspiring or just living life , had dreams they were not letting the wheelchair stop. So when people ask me what High Rollers WC is and how they can be part of it, I tell them to sign up to the website and share what they have. There's no real rules or laws, I felt you have already paid your dues simple from the life we live so let's get together to collaborate, live and have fun. Most people live by laws and rules, so when they see the High Roller logo, sometimes there first reaction is what must I do to be part of this?. I usually say , wanting to be part of it ,is all it took, now come on in and live life.

The logo had a few concepts that ended up to be a winged bandit, someone who rides forward without fear. This is the way we feel is our survival, yes there will be moments we will question our decisions but if we let rejections stop us we will never find acceptances. The superhero person flying was my concept for the logo, my friend OITTHERE from KatKlaw.com design the logo and it came out good. I wanted .to keep the motorcycle club feeling going so I bought several vest and Butta from the PRO Committee told me where to get the art embroidered. I made 3 vest, Damon, Santina and myself wear the first 3 vest made for the club. One of the founding members took High Rollers to an even higher level, Her name is Roxx DaFoxx, an extremely talented and motivate young lady who put High Rollers all over the world.
